On 7th December 2018, Vincent Alexander twice used his wrist to crush my windpipe.On 7th December 2018, Vincent Alexander intentionally caused permanent damage to my jaw when he applied lateral force with the palm of his hand.I was finally discharged two days after a razor blade was surgically removed from my stomach under general anaesthetic. I was considered too high risk of suicide to have on the ward. The trust is under pressure to prevent deaths on its wards so prefers suicides to take place in the community.Discharged with addiction to benzos and sleeping tablets to withdraw cold turkey in the community. Discharged with no support. Sent home to die.**********************************************************************EDIT: I have received a letter from Southern Health that threatens arrest for malicious communications regarding this review. According to an internal investigation this serious assault did not happen. I welcome this arrest as I am merely stating the truth. Please jail me for complaining about being seriously abused.Additionally, I was discharged without support or medication two days after a razor was removed from my stomach, one week after I tried to gore out my own throat with plastic shards and two weeks after two shoelaces were cut from my throat (the same day that I stabbed myself in the temple with a pen).I am wholly disgusted by the catalogue of abuse I have received from Southern Health. I am still waiting for PALS to investigate complaints raised many years ago; complaints PALS refuse to investigate and have labelled "vexatious".Unable to dig deep into the public purse to arm myself with legal weaponry and dirty tricks, I am posting this review to warn others that despite millions in fines and a Parlimentary Inquiry, abuse is still endemic at Southern Health.EDIT: Google, I appeal to you. One of my friends has been trying to commit suicide over the past week, and had been in hospital several times with injuries because of this. Parklands mental health team deemed her perfectly mentally well however to leave her shoe-less at the local hospital in the middle of the night. They have ignored her right to commit herself under the mental health act 1993, and are in heavy breach of their duty of care to someone who is mentally unwell.I contacted Parklands to complain because my friend was having a meltdown, and they told me they would get someone to call her as I explained the situation. So I waited and waited, and they still hadn't contacted her a day later. I'm over 100 miles away from the situation and there is nothing I can personally do, but they have ignored her rights and have left her in a dangerous situation.I hope to hell they look after their regulars better than this because it's the most appalling act of negligence I've seen in a long time. Hell I never write a terrible review, but frankly, the uncaring attitude of the staff was borderline sociopathic, and frankly whilst they could have tried to help the situation, they chose instead to abandon someone with a history of mental illness and self harm when she needed them.

Appalling place. Un organised. Un welcoming. How they expect someone to get well in a place resembling a prison , is beyond me. No facilities for visitors. Expected to sit in dining room with other patients wandering in and out.. not very compassionate towards patients. Place needs total over haul, refurbishing and better organised staff.
Okaii except - was distressed and upset and was ignored . Sat and cried as only 14 . Excellent staff got the help I needed and a huge thank-you to parklands for making me the person I am today
