My daughter is a member of the gym and has tried to take a friend in as a guest but was denied access as my daughter is only 17. Apparently, you have to be 18 to take a guest in. I asked for a copy of the rules and under Guests it does not state anything about under 18's not being allowed guests!! The woman at the gym I spoke to then said it is because my daughter has to assume full responsibility for the other person as they haven't had an induction and being under 18 she couldn't do that. The guest had previously been a memver a few months ago, so an induction had been done. Every question I posed to the woman on duty was met with answers that wer le irrelevant or made no sense. Why can the young members still at school take a guest but someone who has left school, has a job and is paying their own way not be allowed? This is not the first issue with this gym, they really don't know what their own rules are. Start singing off the same song sheet because you just look like idiots.

It's a friendly gym that does the job but the equipment is a bit old and the membership is expensive for what it is.
